General Infomation
IclA – intelligent compact drives with power electronics and positioning control
IclA compact drives have the power and positioning electronics attached to the motor. You only need a supply cable and a field bus cable to connect the compact drive. The position commands are processed independently by the intelligent compact drives. Local inputs allow process signals to be connected directly to the compact drive.
IclA – and you no longer need a control cabinet
Integration of the electronic system results in comprehensive benefits: Dramatic savings can be realised since you do not need a control cabinet and air conditioning system for the electronics. You need considerably less wiring because only a power supply and a field bus cable are required to connect the compact drive.
The EMC concept is simplified since the motor cables are reduced to a minimum and integrated in the compact drive. The decentralised technology has a number of decisive advantages over conventional solutions in machines with and without automation. Since no space is required in the control cabinet, the project design for the compact drives is limited to configuring the software and the power supply.
IclA – a compact drive for a great variety of applications
IclA is the optimum solution in applications requiring low masses to be moved or automatic format adjustment. The proven Berger Lahr stepping motors provide a torque range of 0.5 Nm to 6 Nm. With the EC motor technology in the power range of approx. 50 W, IclA offers special properties for format adjustment. Equipped with an AC synchronous servo motor, it excels with superior dynamic characteristics in the acceleration phase since it can be supplied with an over current for a short period of time. Various winding types allow for adaptation to the application. |
